New regulation: Part-time yeshiva students to receive stipends

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar has signed a new regulation that will allow Kolel yeshiva students to receive a stipend even if they only study Torah part time. As per the regulation, a yeshiva student who studies 18 hours or more will be eligible to receive a proportionate part of the stipend instead of being required to study 35 hours, as it was previously done.
