Russo: Immense gap between Hamas political, military ranks

Southern Command chief Major-General Tal Russo addressed the escalation in the security situation in the Gaza strip, noting that while the IDF did not utilize the full extent of its force, it managed to cause severe harm to Hamas.

"The dog's tail is wagging," He said. "The political ranks in Hamas want a respite, and the military ranks are attempting to harm civilians. The disconnect between them is immense."
