Libyan rebels: Misrata rocket attack death toll rises to 23

Libyan rebels said on Thursday a dawn rocket attack on a residential area in Misrata killed 23 people, including three Egyptians, and said government forces were targeting civilians.

"The death toll has risen to 23 and dozens are wounded. Those killed are civilians and most of them are women and children. We now know that at least three Egyptians were killed in the attack," a rebel spokesman who identified himself as Gemal Salem told Reuters by telephone. (Reuters)
