Haniyeh to slain activist's mom: We'll hunt down killers

Hamas prime minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh spoke to the mother of Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni, who was murdered by a radical Islamist group in Gaza early Friday, and told her that his government will hunt down the murderers and bring them to justice.
During their phone conversation, Heniyeh offered his condolences to the family, stressing that while his government did everything in its power to release her son, the kidnapers didn’t wait for the deadline they set, proving that they intended to kill him all along. (Roi Kais)
