Netanyahu: US trip opportunity to present principles

At the opening of the weekly government meeting Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his anticipated speech before congress next month and said that "the event is an opportunity to present Israel's political and security principles in light of the dramatic changes in our region."
Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau called on Netanyahu to make the important speeches before the Knesset rather than saving them for his trips abroad. "Not the Herzliya conference, not Bar Ilan and not abroad…The Knesset is the place to present policy," he claimed. (Ronen Medzini)
