Katz: Israel Railways will close if safety isn't improved

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz threatened that Israel Railways will close if it fails to improve its level of safety. According to Katz, he told Israel Railways management that it must put together a plan to improve safety levels, following the multitude of accidents and malfunctions that plagued the company recently.

According to Katz, if an acceptable improvement plan is not submitted within four months, the company will close for restructuring. (Hillel Posek)
