Gov't approves NIS 19 billion budget to transfer IDF bases to Negev

The government approved unanimously the NIS 19 billion ($5.56 million) budget to relocate IDF bases to the Negev. As per the decision, the relocation project is expected to be completed by 2018.

The relocation of some IDf bases to the Negev was approved by the government in 2005, but the project was delayed. (Attila Somfalvi)
