Report: Iran appoints ambassador to Egypt after 30 years

An Iranian website affiliated with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reported that the government in Tehran appointed an ambassador to Egypt – for the first time in 30 years.
Mashreq website reported that Iranian authorities decided to appoint senior diplomat Ali Akbar Sibouyeh as an ambassador to Cairo following talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries. (Dudi Cohen)
