El Al bomb plotter wins important UK legal battle

The man convicted of trying to blow up an Israeli jumbo jet in 1986 by smuggling a bomb into his pregnant girlfriend's hand luggage could be released early from prison.

London's High Court ruled Tuesday that the case of Nezar Hindawi should be referred to England's parole board, a development which could see him released just over half way into his 45-year-long sentence. (AP)
