Rebels say five civilians killed in Misrata

Five civilians were killed in mortar attacks in Misrata on Wednesday, a rebel spokesman in the besieged city said, citing medical workers.

The spokesman, who gave his first name as Abdelsalam, said fighting between government troops and insurgents was continuing in Tripoli Street and in the Nakl Thaqeel road, which leads to the port. (Reuters)
