Helen Thomas won't attend pro-Palestinian meeting

Veteran journalist Helen Thomas who previously claimed that Jews should "get out of Palestine" will not be speaking at a pro-Palestinian meeting next month, after leftist groups expressed concern over several comments she made.
The event is scheduled to take place at the same time AIPAC holds its annual conference. Organizers said that Thomas had decided to not to attend after learning that her presence raised controversy. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
