Iran: Students launch sit-in, chant 'Death to Israel'
Iranian students began a three-day sit-in on Thursday in front of the Saudi embassy in Tehran, to protest Saudi Arabia's military intervention in Riyadh that helped put an end to the dispute in Bahrain, Iranian media reported.
According to official Iranian media, the protesters shouted "Death to America!", "Death to Israel!", as well as "Death to Al-Saud! and "Death to Khalifa!" Iran has repeatedly condemned the sending of Saudi and Emirati troops to Bahrain to support the Bahraini forces that have cracked down on the mostly Shi'ite opposition demonstrations. (AFP)
