Hamas: Israel to blame for failure of talks to release Shalit

Senior Hamas official Salah Al-Bardawil said that Israel is responsible for the failure of the negotiations to release the captive IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
Al-Bardawil stated that "Israel backed down before completing the deal, in the last minute." He added that even thought the German mediator took responsibility for the failure of the talks, the deal is in a deadlock because of Israel's stubbornness. (Elior Levy)
