Shomron Regional Council head blames Palestinian forces for shooting

The Head of the Shomron Regional Council commented on Sunday's shooting in Nablus in which one 30 year-old Israeli was killed and four others were wounded. He claimed that Palestinian police opened fire at the Jewish men who came to Nablus to pray at Joseph's tomb without first coordinating their visit with the IDF.

"Breslov Hassidim go into Nablus nearly every week to pray," Mesika said. According to him, "the Palestinian police officers know who they are. This time, for some reason they shot at them. The Palestinian officers were clearly at fault." (Ynet)
