Libya: 5 heavy explosions sound east of Tripoli

Three loud explosions were heard on Monday night east of the Libyan capital Tripoli, a witness said.
"We heard three loud explosions and saw flames and smoke coming from a site not far from us," said a resident of the eastern Tripoli neighborhood of Ain Zara. Two other explosions shook the same area later, according to another witness. The Libyan capital has been the target of intensive NATO raids since Friday. (AFP)
