Obama discusses Israel-Turkey relations with Erdogan

US President Barack Obama spoke with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday and told him he hoped Turkey and Israel would find a way to improve their relations for the benefit of regional stability.
A statement issued by the White House noted that Jerusalem-Ankara relations were one of several issues the two leaders discussed. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
