Magnitude 6.3 quake hits Central Java

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 hit near Cilacap in Central Java on Tuesday, the Indonesian earthquake monitoring agency said, adding that no tsunami warning had been issued.

A Pertamina oil refinery is near where the earthquake hit. There was no immediate report of any damage or interruption to operations. (Reuters)
