Thailand sent troop reinforcements to its border with Cambodia on Tuesday after four days of fighting killed at least 13 people in the bloodiest clashes between the neighbors in nearly two decades, but the guns were silent as focus shifted to diplomacy.
Thailand continued to press for a bilateral solution but Cambodia ruled out talks until a May 7-8 leaders' summit of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta, insisting on third party mediation. (Reuters)
