Jaffa resident indicted over IDF officer stabbing
An indictment was submitted before the Tel Aviv District Court against Mohammad Div, 30, from Jaffa over the assault of an IDF officer and theft of his personal weapon.
The indictment revealed that in mid-March Div attacked the officer, a captain and attempted to steal the weapon he was carrying. A struggle ensued during which Div took out a knife, stabbed the officer, cut the strap holding the weapon and fled. (Naama Cohen-Freidman)
