Knesset ordered to explain decision on MK Zoabi's status
The High Court of Justice ordered the Knesset to advise it on the reasons why a decision by the House Committee to deny MK Hanin Zoabi (Balad) her rights will not be overturned.
The decision was made following Zoabi's partaking in the Gaza flotilla in 2010. The House Committee ruled on the matter following a petition to that effect by rightist Knesset members. (Aviad Glickman)
