Electric company may use alternate energy sources after pipeline blast

Israel's electric company has announced following an attack on Egypt's gas pipeline, which halted gas supplies to Israel, that it is preparing to use alternate energy sources to fuel its power plants.
"The company's leadership will make use of all the means it has in order to ensure a continuing supply of electricity, including the use of alternate fuels," a statement from the company says. (Tani Goldstein)
