PM: Pressure Egypt to preserve peace agreement
On the day when the gas pipe between Egypt and Israel was once again sabotaged, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for the international community to apply pressure on Egypt to preserve the peace agreement with Israel. He made his statements at a meeting with US senators.
Netanyahu warned that the Palestinian route towards unilateral declaration of statehood is harmful to their commitment to negotiation with Israel towards an agreement. "An agreement will only be obtained through negotiation," the prime minister said. (Attila Somfalvi)
