Hamas: Fatah can negotiate with Israel 'over trivialities'

Top Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar said Thursday that his organization does not seek to impede Fatah negotiations with Israel, saying that "If Fatah wants to assume negotiating with Israel over trivialities, they can."
Al-Zahar stressed that Hamas will not partake in peace talks with Israel or recognize it. (AFP)
