Holocaust Remembrance Day Ceremony begins in Jerusalem
The events to mark this year's Holocaust Remembrance Day have begun with the central assembly and memorial ceremony at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other ministers and dignitaries are attending.
During the ceremony six Holocaust survivors chosen to fit in with the central theme behind this year's commemoration: "Shards of memories – the faces behind the documents, objects and pictures" will light the memorial torches. (Ynet)
