Former president Katsav appeals rape conviction

Former President Moshe Katsav filed an appeal on his conviction with the High Court of Justice and requested that his sentence be delayed.

In the appeal, Katsav noted that the court must give weighty consideration to the fact that "he served as the president of the State and Israel's official representative abroad." (Aviad Glickman)
