Security Council welcomes bin Laden death

The UN Security Council is welcoming the news that Osama bin Laden will never again be able to commit terrorist acts and is urging all countries to intensify their efforts to fight global terrorism.
The UN's most powerful body held a special session late Monday to adopt a statement appealing to all countries "to work together urgently to bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers and sponsors of terrorist attacks." (AP)
