Hamas Prime Minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh phoned Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday and congratulated him on signing the reconciliation agreement in Cairo.
Haniyeh, who did not attend the signing ceremony, also spoke to Hamas Politburo chief Khaled Mashaal and Islamic Jihad leader Ramadan Shallah. (Elior Levy)
