Police to compensate Noam Federman for false detention

The police will pay right-wing activist Noam Federman NIS 5,000 (roughly $1,475) in compensation for illegally detaining him for investigation, a settlement deal authorized by the Jerusalem District Court stipulates.
Federman filed a lawsuit against the police in which he claimed he was taken in for questioning for no reason after holding signs during Rahm Emanuel's visit to the Western Wall last year. (Aviad Glickman)
