The French Senate rejected a bill stipulating to penalize deniers of the Armenian holocaust, Turkish newspaper Huriyat reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the bill proposed to impose a five-year prison sentence and a fine of up to €45,000 (about $66,500) on any person in France that denies the Armenian genocide. (Ynet)
