Compromise reached in Firefighter memorial dispute

Memorial ceremonies in the home towns of the firemen who died tragically in the Carmel fire disaster will focus on the disaster – this was the compromise reached following a stormy debate between the Yad Le Banim organization and the families of the firefighters.
According to the decision, the names of the firefighters will be read out and municipal memorial ceremonies in Migdal HaEmek, Afula and Haifa. (Hanan Greenberg)
