UN to send teams to Syria as 6 die in clashes

United Nation's chief says Syria has agreed to allow UN teams to go into the country and check the humanitarian situation there.
Ban Ki-moon spoke in Bulgaria Friday, as Syrian security forces opened fire on protesters Friday, killing at least six people as thousands joined demonstrations across the country calling for an end to President Bashar Assad's regime, witnesses and activists said. (AP)
