Canadian woman missing since March found in Nev

Canadian woman who vanished with her husband seven weeks ago on their way to Las Vegas was found alive Friday in a remote part of northeastern Nevada, police said. Hunters spotted the van of Albert and Rita Chretien in a remote logging road, according to a statement by the Baker City, Oregon, police, which had been searching for the couple.

The 56-year-old woman told her son, Raymond Chretien, that she ate snow to help her survive. She said her 59-year-old husband set off on foot weeks ago in search of help and that was the last she saw of him.

Rita Chretien was hospitalized in fair condition and police were interviewing her, officials said. (AP)
