Fuel contamination feared
Flights that were scheduled to leave from the Sde Dov airport in northern Tel Aviv to Eilat were delayed until further notice due to fuel contamination fears. Dozens of passengers are stranded at the airport.
The Airport Authority told Ynet that it demands to receive a statement from Paz Aviation Assets declaring that the fuel in Sde Dov is clean and up to international standards. "So long as a statement has not been received from the Paz Company we cannot use the fuel tanks in any national airports." (Yoav Zitun)
