Ahmadinejad to attend forum on poorest nations
Turkey is hosting a UN backed conference this week in an effort to promote development in the world's poorest countries.
The conference will address the problems of 48 countries, most of them in Africa, that are particularly vulnerable to unrest, disease, economic turbulence and natural disasters. Those attending include U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. (AP)
