Gov't approves NIS 8.75 to promote Dead Sea in '7 Wonders' race

The government has approved a budget of NIS 8.75 million for the campaign that would promote the Dead Sea in the race to be designated as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

The Dead Sea, a joint contender of Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority, has to recruit between 300-400 million votes before the competition closes on November 11, 2011 (Ynet)
