Yishai to firefighters' families: Sorry they won't be 'fallen soldiers'
Interior Minister Eli Yishai apologized to the families of firefighters who died in the tragic Carmel fire in 2010 for not being able to get the government to recognize their loved ones as Israel's fallen soldiers.
Yishai promised to try and push for a legislative decision on the matter during the summer. (Kobi Nahshoni)
