Extreme Muslims target 'Harry the Nazi'

UK-based Muslims Against Crusaders organization posts hate video against British prince over his service 'in an army that engages in crimes'

Britain's Prince Harry, who is used to drawing the attention of the worldwide media, but is now drawing fire from extreme Muslims. According to a Daily Mail report, a jihad organization has posted a hate video against the prince on its website.

The UK-based Muslims Against Crusaders organization has named the three-minute clip "Harry the Nazi".

It shows the young royal during his military service in Afghanistan in 2007 and 2008, saying that "all my wishes have come true". He is also heard joking and calling himself a "bullet magnet" and using derogatory terms against Pakistanis and Arabs.

The film appears to be designed to incite hatred against Harry, who has recently been promoted to captain in the British army.

The YouTube clip is accompanied by harsh responses. One poster wrote, "May Allah curse and destroy him," and another said, "May he rot in hell." A third person noted that both Harry and Hitler begin with the letter H, adding: "Harry the royal British Nazi."

'Raising the banner for Islam'

According to estimates, the organization activists are targeting the British prince to avenge the assassination of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.

The group's website claims Muslims Against Crusaders is "raising the banner for Islam" and explains why both Harry and his brother William are being targeted.

"It would seem fitting and appropriate to condemn individuals, who sympathize with such a brutal mob, or who promote their literature or glorify their cause.

"William and Harry are not exempt from accountability, and their conscientious decision to enrol in an army that engages in the aforementioned crimes, cannot be taken lightly."

Muslims Against Crusaders issued a clarifying statement on Monday, claiming that the clip was not aimed at evoking hatred or calling on terrorists to hurt Prince Harry.

But the extreme organization's spokesman, Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary, admitted that the video was designed to direct the Muslim's anger towards the royal family because of its involvement in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“I can assure everyone that the Muslims Against Crusades has no intention of targeting Prince Harry or any other member of the royal family," said Choudary.

"It is the objective of this, and videos like it, to draw attention to the royal family's involvement in wars that kill our Muslim brothers and sisters."
