Noam Shalit: We're not celebrating Independence day

Noam Shalit, the father of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit told Ynet Monday evening that he and his family will not be celebrating Independence Day. "We are not celebrating, we are in the tent until Gilad is released, in order to prevent another memorial day," said Noam.
Meanwhile, some 50 supporters of the campaign to release Gilad are protesting in front of Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, where the official ceremony to mark Israel's 63rd anniversary will take place at 8pm. (Omri Efraim)
