Arab League Secretary-General and one of the main candidates for Egypt's presidency Amr Moussa claimed in an interview with the Washington Post that Hamas was not a terrorist organization. "The view that Hamas is a terrorist organization is a view that pertains to a minority of countries, not a majority. Being a terrorist is not a stigma forever," he said.
Moussa also said that Israel should be pressured into lifting the Gaza blockade and discussed Israel's nuclear program. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
