Ahmadinejad: Syria can solve own 'problem' with out intervention

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Syria, plagued by violence that have left hundreds dead, could solve its own "problem" without outside interference, reported Iranian media on Tuesday.

"The government and the Syrian people are mature enough to solve their problem themselves and there is no need for intervention from others," Ahmadinejad said at a news conference Monday night in Istanbul according to the website of state television. (AFP)
