IAF fighter planes accompany flight that didn't contact control tower

IAF fighter planes were dispatched towards an Alitalia airplane that arrived from Rome and prepared to land at Ben Gurion Airport because its crew did not make contact with the airport's control tower.

The Airport Authority said that contact was made with the flight crew a short while later, and that the airplane landed safely accompanied by the fighter planes. (Yoav Zitun)
