BG Airport: Fuel won't be examined before each flight
The Airport Authority announced that there was no need to examine the jet-fuel at Ben Gurion Airport ahead of each take off – an exception carried out following the contaminated substance found in the fuel last weekend.
The decision was made after recent tests showed that the fuel was up to standard. Fuel supplier Paz Aviation Assets announced that it would continue to carry out random checks as is expected. (Yoav Zitun)
