Designer Galliano to face French trial in June

Former Dior designer John Galliano will go on trial in Paris on June 22 on charges that he made racist insults, accusations that rocked the fashion world and cost him his coveted job.

The British designer was questioned by police in February after a dispute in a Paris bar. A couple at the bar accused him of making anti-Semitic remarks, and filed a legal complaint. Another woman accused him of similar insults. (AP)
