PM introduces aerial firefighting squadron named after Elad Riven

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu participated in an inauguration ceremony introducing the new aerial firefighting squadron named after 16-year-old volunteer Elad Riven who died in the Carmel fire last December. The ceremony took place at the Sde Dov Airbase.

Riven's mother, Tzvia, said during the ceremony: "I'm sure what my son would have wanted most of all is for his death not to be in vain and that the country mend its ways." (Aviel Magnezi)
