Barak elected as Independence Party chairman at founding convention
Independence Party Chairman, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, spoke during the founding convention of the party in Tel Aviv, saying: "There are bad news and good news that come with founding the party today. The bad news: We're currently at the bottom of the polls. The good news: We can only rise from here."
