Minister Vilnai: Real 'Nakba Day' threat is mass processions
Minister for Home Front Defense Matan Vilnai addressed the possibility of violent clashes erupting during the Palestinian "Nakba Day," and said that "the real threat is the mass processions, and we will try to handle the matter without using live ammunition."
During a lecture at Tel Aviv University, Vilnai noted that "the Palestinian social networks are swarming with anti-Israel calls. We assume the Palestinians will try to engage in popular protest, just like their brothers in Libya and Egypt." (Hanan Greenberg)
