Egypt's government says deposed President Hosni Mubarak and his wife have been questioned over suspicions they illegally amassed vast wealth. Mubarak has been questioned several times, but this would be the first time his wife, Suzanne, faced interrogation.
A Justice Ministry statement said interrogators headed to the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh on Thursday to question the couple about corruption and misuse of power. Mubarak also faces charges over deaths of protesters during the popular uprising that toppled him Feb. 11. (News Agencies)
