Hamas official in Gaza Salah al-Bardwill denied reports linking the Palestinian reconciliation agreement and the deal to free captive soldier Gilad Shalit.
In an interview with Hamas newspaper Al-Risala, Bardwill noted that the prisoner exchange deal was one of three issues Egypt has been dealing with for a long time, together with Palestinian reconciliation and relations with Israel. He added that the success of the deal depends on Israel's willingness to reach an agreement. (Elior Levy)
