Egyptian forces fired into the air to disperse protesters gathered Friday outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo to demand the expulsion of the ambassador and the severance of relations with Israel.
Dozens of Egyptians protested outside the Israeli Embassy to commemorate the "Nakba" (catastrophe), the creation of Israel in May 1948 and the exodus of Palestinians. (AFP)
