IDF spokesperson: Thousands protest at Syrian border

IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Yoav (Poli) Mordechai told Ynet that clashes were being held between Syrian citizens and IDF forces. "A few thousand people arrived at the border, and some crossed into Majdal Shams. Soldiers are clashing with the protesters, who are hurling stones."
Mordechai addressed the clash along the Lebanese border, calling it an "Iranian provocation." IDF forces opened fire at protesters attempting to appraoch the border fence. (Hanan Greenberg)
